Prime Security
Cyber Security SaaS Product / 2024 - 2026
Prime Security is an AI-powered platform that automates security design reviews and identifies architectural risks at the earliest stages of development, acting as an Agentic Security Architect to provide developers with real-time mitigation plans and enforce security guardrails on AI-generated code.
As a solo product designer, my role was to redesign the product and work on new features, turning design partners into paying customers, increasing product usability, and solving customer pain points

Building the Foundation: Design System & Branding
I joined Prime Security six months after it was founded, when it already had a working MVP and a set of fairly messy Figma files. Following the rebrand from the design studio, I worked with two typefaces: Bw Gradual and BDO Grotesk - combining two main sources of inspiration: Tel Aviv Bauhaus architecture and The Matrix, a film widely loved across the company.
I created a new design system from scratch in two versions: one based on the existing components already used in the product, and another more forward-looking version with a refreshed visual language aligned with the marketing website.

The goal was to significantly reduce development time, enabling faster feature releases, while also allowing a gradual transition from the old design to the new one without breaking existing design files. More recently, I connected Figma’s MCP to Claude Code to generate prototypes based directly on the design system.

Killer Feature: The AI-Driven Security Review
Prime Security’s solution reduces the time CISOs spend on Design Reviews from long hours to just a few minutes, while providing actionable implementation recommendations for development.
Initially, we created a single Design Review with specific recommendations for each asset, such as a Jira Ticket or GitHub Issue. However, following customer interviews and data analysis from Datadog, the product team realized that this solution didn't address all needs. We identified a requirement for additional context of various data sources.
In collaboration with the product team, we defined and designed a new flow for creating Security Reviews, allowing multiple sources of input.
Business impact:
Product usability significantly improved, helping convert design partners into paying customers.
Self-Service User Onboarding
Originally, onboarding required heavy manual involvement from Sales and Solutions teams.
In the new flow, I designed a simple, intuitive wizard that guides users step by step in entering the required tokens. This allows data to start flowing into the system quickly and effortlessly, reduces dependency on technical stakeholders, and significantly improves the initial user experience.
- Automated the initial setup and data connection.
- Reduced time-to-value for new users.
- Decreased the sales cycle by enabling a Product-Led Growth (PLG) approach.
